What sizes of citrus does it work on?

Lemons, limes, oranges, and small grapefruits all work. If the fruit half is smaller than the press surface, it'll work. Very large grapefruit halves may need two squeezes to cover the full surface.
Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes. Top rack dishwasher safe. Most people just rinse it under the tap and it takes about 5 seconds.
